About Raced Ghana

Our Story

Empowering Communities, One Step at a Time

In November 2015, during a relative’s funeral in the East Mamprusi Municipality, John Bibirim and his three brothers—Albert Achiri Wuni, Mark Jakpari, and Mumuni Bassako George—visited their kinsmen in the nearby Kulgona village. There, they met 16-year-old Helena Bukari, sitting outside her home, visibly distressed. Helena revealed that her father, who was ill, could not afford her school fees, leaving her at home while her peers continued their education.
Moved by her plight, the brothers contributed funds to support Helena’s education. With their help, she completed secondary school and earned a Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from Wa Technical University. This experience inspired the brothers to extend their support beyond Helena, marking the beginning of Independents Minds Association now RacedGhana. What started as monthly contributions for charity and rural education development quickly evolved into a formal organization committed to addressing educational and social needs.
